On our recent amazing second voyage aboard Disney’s Galactic Starcruiser, we spoke with one couple who had a great time but missed a fair amount of the interactive experiences aboard the ship. This led us to wonder – could Disney improve the process of “onboarding” folks to the experience and the alternate universe aboard the ship?
When we thought of this topic, we quickly realized that there was no one better to talk to about this than immersive designer Nick Tierce. We spoke with Nick not only about how Disney can make improvements but also learned about other immersive/interactive experiences like “Sleep No More”, Delusion, Ghost Town Alive at Knott’s Berry Farm, and the various Meow Wolf installations & how the creators of these experiences bring people into their worlds of wonder.
