Meet My Character – Dru Vox
Dru Vox has a vibro ax to grind. When he was a child, his family relocated to Hosnian Prime from Corellia when the Corellian Engineering Corporation closed a computing division that employed Dru’s parents. In their new home, Dru’s mother began work as a navigational technician programming automated government freighters while Dru’s father worked as a statistician analyzing data for the New Republic.
Their work was all-consuming and left little time for careful parenting. As a result, Dru fell in with an unsavory group while growing up. The group taught him skills both good and bad such as working as a slicer, dealing with clients as an independent entrepreneur, how to take care of himself in a street fight, and the art of how to make evidence disappear.
This work led him through the underworld and into a lucrative job in private security. This career as taken him all over the galaxy and introduced him to powerful friends. He was off-world working with Captain Ma’Li Ficent & Hondo Ohnaka when the First Order destroyed Hosnian Prime. This criminal act of war killed billions and among the dead were Dru’s parents.
